Suscol Mountain Vineyards
Neighboring Sugarloaf Mountain to the south is the more recently planted (planting started in early 2000s) Suscol Mountain vineyards (formerly known as Kirkland Ranch). The climate and soils are identical to the neighboring Sugarloaf Mountain vineyards. 2018 marked the first year we sourced our Chardonnay grapes from a rocky and windswept block at the southwestern corner of Suscol Mountain. Low yields and small berries have allowed us to produce a unique and well-balanced wine. We are very excited about the inaugural wine made from this vineyard.
