Stanly Ranch Vineyards

The vineyard sits at the eastern corner of the Los Carneros AVA next to where the Napa River meets the San Pablo Bay.  Los Carneros appellation covers 90 square miles of windswept rolling hills from the mouth of the Napa River west to the southern Sonoma Valley appellation.  Major influences from the San Pablo Bay add a cooling effect especially in the morning and early afternoon with summer fog receding to warmer temperatures and warm days.  Clay loam soils and persistent bay winds encourage the grapevines to struggle which produces  smaller berries which result in more concentrated grapes.  This vineyard produces grapes for our Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc offerings.
