This wine is a single vineyard wine vinified in a classic French way. It was barrel fermented and aged for 12 months in 75% new French Oak barrels. The wine was cold stabilized, but no other fining or filtration took place before bottling. It possesses a medium-body with fine structure and refreshing acidity. On the nose, it has a classic Napa Valley tropical fruit, with lots of pineapple aromas followed by aromas of bananas, jasmine, light butterscotch, and toasted brioche. It is a very wholesome, satisfying, complex wine. Very good on its own or paired with your backyard barbecue, this is a perfect wine to drink on the front porch watching the sunset.
The wine was made for early consumption, but the acidity and aromatic sophistication should last for several years. Enjoy now or up to 2030.
